Statement: Senate Intel Report Shows Trump’s Dangerous Pattern Of Undermining Our Democracy, National Security
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Tuesday, August 18, 2020
In response to the release of a bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee report that shows that Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign welcomed aid from Russian agents, Stand Up America spokesperson Ryan Thomas released the following statement:
“Even before votes were cast in 2016, it was clear that Donald Trump and his campaign would stop at nothing to win—even if that meant cheating their way into the White House. This report shows the depths of Trump’s efforts to undermine the 2016 election and the lengths that he’ll go in 2020, including by sabotaging the U.S. Postal Service.
“The American people want a president who respects the rule of law and the Constitution, not a puppet of Putin who will continue to undermine our democracy and national security to cling to power. This fall, voters must say до свидания to Donald Trump.”
