WASHINGTON—Stand Up America President and Founder Sean Eldridge issued the following statement in response to Donald Trump winning the New Hampshire Republican primary:

“Donald Trump’s victory in New Hampshire should serve as a wake-up call to every American who cares about the future of our fundamental freedoms and our democracy. After 91 criminal charges and countless attacks on our freedom to vote, Trump cannot be trusted to step foot in the Oval Office again.

“Confronted with the threat of a second Trump presidency, the American people must organize and vote in November’s election as if the survival of our democracy hangs in the balance—because it does.”
