Senior Copywriter

As the Senior Copywriter, Sami writes email, website, and ads copy, always looking for places to add a unique voice, a personal touch, and a sense of humor in her writing to build an engaged community.

Prior to Stand Up America, Sami worked in the development department at the Roosevelt Institute—a progressive economic policy think tank—for nearly five years. There, she wrote dozens of grant reports, as well as newsletters, annual appeals, and endless scores of thank you notes.

Sami is a Hampshire College graduate, a devoted dog mom, and a New York City native with strong opinions on pizza. She’s eagerly established Halloween traditions wherever she’s worked, from annual costume contests to GOTV emails (spooky puns required). Outside of work, she can be found listening to podcasts and playing video games.
