Social Media Director

As the Social Media Director at Stand Up America, Dayanita manages the voice of Stand Up America across socials to educate, inspire and mobilize our community to take action. She will do whatever it takes to make a meme work.

Previously, Dayanita was the Social Media Manager at Crooked Media where she led strategy and content creation for Vote Save America to inspire folks to vote and get out the vote! Prior, she was the Online Community Manager at Free Press. And before that, the Digital Media Associate & Illustrator at Media Matters for America, where she once drew Donald Trump as a bull…seriously you can look it up.

Dayanita is very proud of the work she accomplished with the amazing team at Vote Save America, especially during the 2020 and 2022 elections, and during the aftermath of the Dobbs decision where the community raised over $1 million for immediate abortion access, clinics, and legal defense.

Dayanita is a Californian through and through, even when she lived in Washington D.C. for 7 years. She is an illustrator and painter, likes to arrange flowers and dote on her two senior rescue dogs.
