Chloe Owens

Senior Digital Strategist

As the Senior Digital Strategist at Stand Up America, Chloe produces and executes ideas for long form content—from email to blog posts to advertisements and more. Chloe is obsessed with telling a story. Give her a theme and creative flexibility, and she’ll deliver something engaging and inspiring—and maybe a little snarky. 

Before Stand Up America, Chloe used her communication skills to support progressive politics  in a couple of different ways. Most recently, she was the Communications and Storytelling Director at Missouri Health Care for All, a statewide non-profit fighting for health care equity in Missouri and advancing the broader movement for health care for all. 

Though it wasn’t technically a job, the role Chloe looks on most fondly is serving as a City Year AmeriCorps member in Boston, MA. She mentored and tutored high school students from Cabo Verde, and eventually went on to train first year AmeriCorps members to do the same. Those years with her students and corps members impacted her more than any other professional experience. 

Chloe is originally from Memphis, TN, and she will always remind you that it is home to the greatest BBQ in the United States. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Saint Louis University and Washington University in St. Louis, respectively. When she’s not working, you can find her painting, having an impromptu dance party, or eating an oh-so delectable meal.
