Our country cannot make meaningful progress without ending the Senate filibuster. For decades, the filibuster has been used to protect racist policies and block progress in the Senate, giving a minority of senators the ability to hold legislation hostage. We need to get rid of this antiquated procedural hurdle and open the door to meaningful progressive change.
