Great news: The New Mexico Voting Rights Act has passed!

Today, Governor Lujan Grisham signed the bill into law. Now, New Mexicans’ freedom to vote will be fundamentally transformed.

More than 11,000 New Mexicans will have their voting rights restored, tribal communities will have better access to the polls, and voters will have more ways to register and cast their ballots.

New Mexico is doing what Congress couldn’t: protecting the freedom to vote. They are setting an example for the rest of the country to follow. In one click, share how your state is leading the way on voting rights on social media.
