Stand Up America and Fair Fight Action Launch Joint Digital Campaign and New Hotline to Drive Calls to Congress in Support of Federal Voting Rights Legislation

Following the passage of H.R. 4 in the U.S. House of Representatives, the two groups are driving daily calls to U.S. Senators in support of the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and the For the People Act

ATLANTA — Stand Up America and Fair Fight Action, the voting rights organization founded by Stacey Abrams, have doubled down on efforts to pass federal voting rights legislation by launching a joint digital campaign and new phone number (833-465-7142) to drive calls to Congress in support of the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act (H.R.4) and the For the People Act (S.1).

The joint effort and new number were launched immediately on the heels of the introduction of H.R. 4 in the U.S. House of Representatives. In just one week, thousands of calls were made to Representatives urging them to swiftly pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act—building on the more than 70,000 calls volunteers have made to their Senators in the two months since Fair Fight Action launched the Hot Call Summer campaign to secure federal voting rights legislation.
