We Break Down the Articles of Impeachment
On December 13, 2019, the House Judiciary Committee voted to approve two articles of impeachment, charging Donald Trump with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. After hearing from over a dozen witnesses during public impeachment hearings, we know that Trump broke the law when he pressured man a foreign power, Ukraine, to interfere in the 2020 election for his own political gain.
The articles will now be voted on by the full House of Representatives. If they are approved, this will be the third time in U.S. history that the House of Representatives has impeached a president. We break down both articles here:
