SUA Has Driven Over 160K Constituent Calls to Congress Calling for the Swift Impeachment of Donald Trump
NEW YORK — In less than 24 hours, Stand Up America connected over 29,000 constituents via phone to their representative in Congress demanding the swift impeachment of Donald Trump for his high crimes and misdemeanors.
Yesterday’s call-in day was the largest in Stand Up America’s history, with constituents from every congressional district in the country calling lawmakers to demand that Congress immediately draft articles of impeachment and vote to impeach Trump this fall.
“We’re seeing unprecedented grassroots pressure to hold Trump accountable for using military aid to pressure Ukraine to interfere in our 2020 election,” said Stand Up America Founder and President Sean Eldridge. “No one is above the law in the United States of America, and none of us can remain silent in this historic moment—including our lawmakers.”
